2. What is the beach like there?
The beach starts at the back door of our house.  The beach here and at Bean Point is one of the nicest we've ever seen, because:
  • it has a very white, powdery sand
  • it is never crowded
  • the views are beautiful
  • the sun sets into the water
  • it's great for swimming (nice, sandy bottom)

3. How is the kitchen equipped?
It has a refrigerator, double oven, microwave oven, dish washer, blender, mixer, electric can opener, and garbage disposal.  There are lots of pots, pans, bowls and other cooking supplies.  If you're a gourmet chef, you might find something missing, but for most people's everyday use, the supplies are more than adequate.  For serving, there are wine goblets, beer mugs, and complete matched sets of dishes for six. 4. What is the neighborhood like?
The town of Anna Maria north of Pine Street is composed almost entirely of single-family residences.  There are only two very small one-story motels within a half mile of the house.  The houses tend to be either older one-story homes (like ours), or modern elevated homes.  North Shore Drive, our street, has little traffic.  This neighborhood is an excellent area for walking, running or biking.  Although our home is relatively modest, the homes along the beach in this area near and on Bean Point are among the most architecturally interesting and expensive properties on the island, with values up to $4 million.  Despite this, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, not snooty.
